COVID-19 Updates & Resources

During these difficult times, the Town of Fountain Hills is focused on providing a safe and healthy environment for its visitors. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to contain the spread of the virus, many regularly scheduled events have been canceled or postponed, but the community remains open for guests looking to enjoy our many outdoor amenities, including the World Famous Fountain, and our open businesses while maintaining proper health protocols.

Please review this page for updates on what businesses are open and local regulations regarding events and face coverings.

The following guidelines apply to Maricopa County.

Restaurants and bars operating with restaurant service are open for indoor dining at full capacity. However, physical distancing guidelines between parties of 6 feet must be maintained.

Indoor gyms, fitness clubs or centers, and indoor movie theaters may operate at full capacity with increased safety precautions. Please call ahead before visiting to verify that the business is open and to make reservations if required.

Public events of more than 50 people are not allowed unless authorized by the Town.

The Arizona Department of Health Services continues to monitor COVID-19 community transmission rates in order to update business guidance and capacity limits as needed.

As a result of a mask mandate in Maricopa County, all residents and visitors over the age of six are required to wear face coverings inside public spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained. Masks are not required while eating or drinking at restaurants. Details of the regulations can be found here.

Please remember to carry a face covering with you at all times, double check business hours before visiting, maintain six feet of distance between you and others not in your household whenever possible, and wash your hands often.

If you are experiencing COVID-19-like symptoms, please do not go out in public. For testing locations, please visit the AZDHS website here.

Thank you for using precautions and protecting the health of our residents and visitors.
