Andrews-Kinsey to Hitching Post

This is a very rewarding moderately difficult 5.9 mile, out and back hike starting from the Adero Canyon Trailhead. The trail climbs as it winds through the Adero Canyon to the Sunrise Trail with its hitching post. Those who want an extra challenge may opt to continue another 1/2 mile and climb to the top of Sunrise Peak.

Bring 2 liters of water and snacks; wear a hat and sturdy hiking boots. Hiking poles recommended. No dogs, please.
