Dessert in the Desert returns with another incredible line-up. It is a series of hour-long, hands-on introductions to lesser-known aspects of our unique Sonoran Desert. This program is hosted at the Adero Canyon Trailhead so bring a chair, family, friends, your favorite dessert or snack, and join us for an unusual experience. All ages welcome, and everyone must be registered. No pets or alcohol, please.
Experience the three stages of twilight and witness the desert’s transition from the day shift to the night shift. You’ll engage your five senses to connect with the Sonoran Desert as the stars twinkle on one by one. The evening will culminate with a laser-guided tour of the constellations and a peek through the telescope at some deep space objects.
