How about a late afternoon 2 hour hike ending at sunset to close out your day? During the cooler months this season we plan to lead an easy to moderate pace hike that starts 2 hours before sunset, breaking into 2 groups if needed. We will hike out 1 hour and then turn back to the trailhead.
This month we will take the Promenade Trail to the Mesquite Hollow Trail. We will follow Mesquite Hollow then take a break at the Mesquite Tree or go further if we can return by sunset. Bring two liters of water and snacks, and wear a hat & sturdy boots. Hiking poles recommended. No dogs, please.
