During this interpretive walk through the Fountain Hill Desert Botanical Garden, Bernie Finkel will introduce and explain how certain plants found in the Garden and elsewhere in the Sonoran Desert have been used for medicinal purposes by Native Americans. He will also touch on the history of medicinal plants and what makes a plant medicinal.
Bring 1 liter of water and snacks; wear a hat and sturdy hiking shoes or boots. Hiking poles recommended. No dogs please.
