Join Paul Stark on a photographic journey to capture the Fountain with the sun setting behind it and the McDowell Mountains - the iconic desert photo. He will explain how to override the phone’s auto settings and get the Fountain in the foreground and the McDowell Mountains in the background without the setting sun over-saturating the shot. Paul will also talk about framing and describe techniques such as cropping and color correction for the photos once you get home.
Meet at the Red Yucca Ramada, Fountain Lake Park. After basic instruction we can shoot from the edge of the lake and/or walk partly up the Lake Overlook Trail.
Bring a fully charged cell phone. No dogs please.
