Announces 2016 Pinnacle Award Winners
Boise, Idaho- The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) paid tribute to the Town of Fountain Hills – produced by our Experience Fountain Hills Tourism Division in Tucson, Arizona on September 27, 2016 during the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Ceremony held at the IFEA’s 61st Annual Convention, Expo & Retreat, presented by Haas & Wilkerson Insurance, in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A.. Sept 27-29, 2016, where they were presented with NUMBER awards in the prestigious IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards competition.Awards were won in the following categories:
BEST ORGANIZATIONAL WEBSITE-GOLD
BEST SINGLE MAGAZINE DISPLAY AD-SILVER
BEST AD SERIES-SILVER
BEST MISCELLANEOUD ON-SITE DECOR-BRONZE
The Town of Fountain Hills is being awarded for the second year in a row in the category of “Best AD Series”Our Fountain Hills Tourism Division members Rachel Goodwin and Grace Rodman-Guetter were in attendance for the conference and the awards reception.Staff is honored to be recipients of prestigious IFEA awards for the second year in a row.Participation and recognition from partners like IFEA work to further promote the Town of Fountain Hills not only on a statewide, but an international level.Among Fountain Hills, other winners included; Cherry Creek Art Festival, Pasadena Tournament of Roses and the Kentucky Derby Festival.Staff looks forward to submitting future advertising, marketing, and event initiatives to the IFEA committee next year.

Awards were handed out in 68 different categories in total including Best TV Promotion; Social Media Site; Commemorative Poster; Overall Sponsorship Program; Green Program; Educational Program, Children’s Programming; Media Relations Campaign; Overall Merchandising Program; Festival & Event Management Degree Programs to the highest award given by the IFEA in recognition of those Festivals and events who have a balance of all the elements necessary to ensure a successful event – the Grand Pinnacle.
